Housing Reports

The Town, working in partnership with the Village of Air Ronge, has been actively evaluating housing needs within the region and pursuing funding opportunities to assist in making serviced lands available for the construction of new housing. In 2023, the La Ronge/Air Ronge Housing Needs Assessment & Action Plan was completed, followed by the La Ronge/Air Ronge Housing Business Plan in 2024. These documents provide an abundance of information about the region and its housing needs and opportunities, both of which can be found below.

  • All lots sales are subject to GST.
  • A non-refundable deposit of the greater of 10% of purchasing price (including GST) or $500.00 per lot is required with each offer to purchase.*** Also include with the letter of offer: description of land, purchase price, proposed construction.
  • All offers are subject to council approval.  Letter and deposit must be submitted prior to noon 2 days before the day of council meeting.  (The deposit will be applied to the purchase price; if the offer is withdrawn by the purchaser, the deposit is lost.  If Council refuses the offer to purchase, the deposit is refunded.)
